Forage for pollinators: Produces Nectar and Pollen which is foraged by Short and Long-tongued Bumblebees such as the red-tailed bumblebee (Bombus lapidarius), Honeybees and some solitary Bees.
Flowering time: July, August.
Growing information: EVERGREEN SHRUB growing to 1.5m (5ft). Salt tolerant and can grow in just about any soil, averagely free-draining, and it is hardy to minus 40ÂșC. A native New Zealand evergreen Hebe, this species is well known as a particularly good bee plant producing abundant white to pale-mauve flowers in summer. Our plants are grown from seed harvested from alpine slopes in South Island New Zealand.
